Cosimo Birtolo is Head of Artificial Intelligence Hub at Poste Italiane, where he leads the design, development and industrialisation of AI solutions across logistics, financial services and customer experience. He has more than 18 years of experience in AI, Machine Learning and advanced analytics, combining scientific research with large-scale business applications. He holds a PhD in Computer Science, has authored more than 30 scientific publications. He has been for 6 years the Chair of UPU Standards Board and, since April 2026, has served as Chair of the UPU Telematics Cooperative, leading international collaboration on digital innovation and technology across the global postal sector.
