- Bart holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and has been active in the security and technology sector since 2000, when he founded Secured by Web B.V. In 2011, he launched Last Mile Logistics (LML) and introduced his first operational parcel machine in 2014 - In 2015, Bart began working with Dutch Royal Post and partnered with VDL, a leading multinational in metal sheet production, to scale parcel infrastructure projects. In early 2018, he contributed to a consortium project with Norwegian Post, focusing on autonomous delivery robots - Since 2021, Bart has been involved in CiPiO, a joint initiative between VDL and LML, bringing smart parcel solutions to apartment buildings - As of 2025, LML collaborates with a broad range of metal sheet manufacturers to deliver smart, flexible and customized last-mile solutions
