Dürkopp Fördertechnik is a global provider of automated sorting and conveyor
technology solutions for intralogistics plant engineering. The Bielefeld-based
company, with 550+ employees, was founded in 1954 initially as a division of
Dürkoppwerke. Following its spin-off as an independent limited company in 1995,
DFT became part of the KNAPP Group in 2010 and has since complemented the
portfolio, particularly in the areas of sorting and sequencing.
Since 2025, DFT has served as the group-wide centre of excellence for sorting technology within the KNAPP Group. With innovations such as the modular push-tray sorter, DFT offers flexible sorting platforms that can be individually adapted to customer requirements.
Another milestone: in 2025, DFT commissioned its 100th system featuring proven adapter technology in the field of overhead conveyor technology. The focus is on comprehensive solutions and services for customers in sectors such as fashion, retail, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and parcel and postal services.
