Swift Parcel Locker
No location model can remove every uncertainty before a network goes live. Real utilization, customer behavior, visibility and accessibility can only be fully understood after a locker begins operating. When a location underperforms, the speed and cost of relocation become part of the network’s business case.
Traditional installations can make that decision expensive. Ground preparation, transport and specialist equipment may cause operators to leave an underperforming machine in place for too long, slowing the return on the asset and the momentum of the wider network.
Swift Locker is designed around a different principle: outdoor stability without unnecessary installation rigidity. The locker is built from compact two-column modules positioned on an engineered concrete base. The base provides the wind resistance required for outdoor operation, while the complete unit remains suitable for relocation with standard pallet-handling equipment.
This gives operators the flexibility to:
- deploy pilot locations faster;
- test new catchment areas;
- respond to seasonal demand;
- add temporary capacity near overloaded sites;
- move assets when actual utilization does not match the original forecast
Swift Locker is particularly relevant during rapid network expansion, when speed matters but the quality of every location has not yet been proven. It lowers the operational barrier to correcting a location decision and helps the network adapt on the basis of live performance rather than assumptions.
