Swiss Post chose the Fives' GENI-Ant™ AMR sorter to guarantee a fast & accurate delivery service
Supplied in only four months since the site opening, the sorting solution delivered to Swiss Post has been installed on the 6th floor of an urban building, in 700sqm.
The sorting solution is equipped with GENI-Ant™ Autonomous Mobile Robots, two automated induction lines with dimensioning weighing system and 30 destinations to handle items up to 1,200 x 600 mm and operate at up to 2.5 m/s. The modular speed of the AMRs enables high-precision sorting, the possibility to design very narrow chutes and therefore decrease the system space occupancy.
