One key highlight is the OptiSweep solution, which automates the sorter close-out process using advanced robotics, replacing manual workflows in high-volume environments. Capable of processing 4,000 to over 34,000 items per hour, the Fortna WCS software manages the workflow and ensures seamless integration with existing sorters and consolidation stations.

Visitors can also learn about the Fortna Product Speed Optimization module, an advanced control logic system that reduces sorter speed while maintaining the same throughput. This improves energy efficiency, lowers mechanical stress and reduces noise and vibration, thereby extending the system lifespan. Additional innovations include the Smooth Items Remover (SIR), which enhances efficiency through increased high-capacity sorter throughput, and the data acquisition system, which enables real-time monitoring and supports data-driven predictive maintenance strategies.
