Delivering the future in action: Nova Post has launched Europe's largest network of parcel lockers
)
“We are building an ecosystem of parcel lockers that are always nearby — for sending, receiving or temporary storage. In Europe, there are already lockers with cooling chambers, charging stations, recycling points and bank card issuance. We also want our parcel lockers to become a daily service point in the future, with access to e-commerce, financial and local services. The first business to implement this will not only gain customers, but also a new role in the city,”
— comments Artur Kudelin, Director of the Parcel Locker Department at Nova Post.
During the year, Nova Post introduced a number of new features and services:
- Installed 4,000 solar-powered lockers (30% of the network) to ensure service during blackouts; by year-end, the number will reach 9,000.
- Opened the first mega-machine No. 77777 on Kyiv’s left bank — a nine-metre locker with 188 compartments.
- Launched a “Luggage Storage” service for convenient temporary storage and transfer of items.
- Expanded with 200 customised lockers featuring local phrases, images and meanings, integrating them into city life.
- Enabled “Transfer Point” lockers for partner use, allowing parcel transfers 24/7 without queues or operators.
- Began installing lockers in new locations such as universities, hospitals, dormitories and hotels.
- Started testing specialised solutions — including lockers designed for ski equipment.
Today, Nova Post’s parcel locker ecosystem is not only Europe’s largest, but also one of the most innovative — blending scale, resilience and user-focused services.
