Parcel Pending by Quadient lockers can include built-in printers, enabling customers to drop off packages and print shipping labels at the same time. Customers can scan a barcode label to place a package in the Drop Box, and then print a shipping label directly from the locker. This saves time and hassle for customers and carriers and reduces the risk of mixing up parcels. It also provides a convenient way for customers to send and receive packages at locations like train stations and local stores. EuroSort showcased its Split Tray Sorter at the expo. The system’s innovative concave tray surface allows it to sort non-conveyable items and other oddly shaped objects such as loose garments, pharmaceutical bottles, polybags or even round items, by containing them within the single split tray. The Split Tray Sorter has undergone many revisions and improvements over the years but has never lost the simple functionality that makes it special. Wayzim showcased its Forklift AMR at the expo. The fork-tow autonomous mobile robot transports goods to a designated location using laser SLAM navigation. The Forklift AMR achieves efficient, flexible and dynamic obstacle avoidance and motion path planning, enabling effective goods flow inside and outside the warehouse and between production lines. It is widely used in highly flexible production lines and automated warehouses. Steven Wang, general manager for Benelux, DACH and the Nordics at Wayzim, explains more.

Bizerba has collaborated with Bluhm Weber to create a new PostModG-compliant weighing and labeling solution. From 2025, packages over 10kg will require labeling to indicate their greater weight, and packages over 20kg will need labels to indicate that they may only be transported by two people, or by one person using technical aids. The partnership has led to the launch of a Vinted Go smart locker network in France and aims to more than quadruple this locker network within the next few years.

Rohit Pitale, CPO for product and strategy at UnboxRobotics, introduces the company's latest compact, lightning-fast parcel sortation ATV that allows for vertical sorting and supports multiple destinations in tight spaces. It enhances warehouse operations by reducing the number of robots needed, leading to cost savings and scalability. The ATV can reach heights of 2.4m and handle weights of around 10kg, making it a key player in the shift toward parcel automation.
